I am a PLWA and have had hiv for 36 years. As a result I have distal symmetrical polyneuropathy, 'brain impairment' (I don't like the term but it's the official designation) and a failed thyroid. My mobility is our and I take morphine for extreme pain. These days (like other people with disabilities) I find that all the support I used to access had been withdrawn due to austerity led funding cuts. I hope to find some sort here and to give some in return.

Many thanks for the replies - nice to actually meet some other members (it's increasingly rare on sites like this these days for anyone to have the time to spare, lol, all the funding cuts have communities run off their proverbial feet!). My name is Lesley btw. I'm a 56yr old woman from the Peak District. Hi again. xxx
