Getting paid

Hi i was wondering if you get paid for pip while your waiting to hear about an assessment as ive been told by the job centre to put in for pip but i dont no weather to or not

    as far as i know you get paid from when you first applied ,

    You need to get accepted onto pip before you get paid the allowance, but it will get back dated if successful to the date you applied
