hi all,

I’m Elle, I’m 22 years old and since 18 I have had a diagnosis of Hypermobility syndrome, as of 21 I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and as of 26th October this year I was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy.

Im wondering if anyone else has had a late diagnosis and how I go about fighting my decline for PIP

    Hello Elle @eboothy and a warm welcome to the community. You will find members on here who can relate to all the conditions you mention and we have both knowledgeable members and excellent specialists when it comes to looking at PIP issues. Bear with us and they will be in touch with you.
    For the moment I am going to tag in our CP specialist advisor, @Richard_Scope and I'm sure he will point you in the right direction where the late diagnosis is concerned.
    Hope that's of help. Do stay in touch.
    Warmest best wishes,
    @JennysDad

    Great to meet you and welcome to our community. Have you applied for Mandatory Reconsideration? That would be the starting point I believe. Here is the link to our PIP/DLA discussions. This particular thread may be of use even though it is not quite your situation yet. New diagnosis during the wait for the tribunal
    If you need anything further, please let me know :):smiley:
