ESA letter

Ive joined her as my father has received a form in post and I dont understand it to be fare and his mentor is currently unavailable. The form is Esa3 (ibr) 06/18 back dated to jun 2014. It says not to fill in if had saving over £16k or partner worked over 24hrs per week. Theres no savings like that and no partner. In the transition there was no change off payments and told everything will remain the same. These forms are very stressful. It seams they think they may owe him money. We dont think they do. What will happen if he just doesn't fill it in. Thank you sorry to disturb you all.

If you don't fill in the form you cannot be assessed as to whether money is due. Filling in the form does not affect any current benefit. If you decide not to return the form, the accompanying letter should be returned with either one of the tick boxes ticked or your reason why. There is nothing to lose by filling in the form an potentially a lot to gainBe all you can be, make every day count. Namaste

Ta. The only boxes for not filling in form are not relevant though. will look at links.

Couldnt see anything helpful in the links will look at letter again tomorrow. Just worried if dont reply they will stop payments. Im guessing they have to send the form out as errors have been made.

Hello @kKeithrg76 Pleased to meet you. Welcome.
In response to your post about forms. I understand benefits are complex and confusing.
Speak to your local Citizen's Advice office. They have a wealth of expertise and knowledge with benefits. Just a suggestion.
I use them for all my form filling in. Use them for information and advice. Pleasant to have some one face to face I can understand.
Please take care.

I have re read the letter today. Page 2 does state if you do not want a review to contact them by post or phone. I was thinking ill write a letter expressing my father does not want to find out if due any back payments as all is order with payments received and he can sign it. I said will give it couple days see if any further info comes to hand.
