As you may know I was recently diagnosed with ASD, But I believe there is different types. Some can be mild and others worse. But this is all fairly new as I had no choice of course and to continue on. Is there a forum link someone could send as I mentioned before, no social groups in Northumberland. Only Belford which is far to far from Morpeth

You have ASD so your on the spectrum where on the spectrum I've no idea. I have 3 young adults one has Autism one had ASD and the other Aspergers. Did they not offer you a course to understand your diagnosis. The national autism website explains the differences between the three and offers help and support..

They did not I got a leaflet and a follow up session and that was it. Mine is cognative, being concentration. I have tried but I am going around in circles, even northumberland library has very little on this subject. The Support Group is a 70 mile trip to which I am not prepared to do as is too far

Hi @Grenville, thanks for sharing this with us. You mentioned a forum link: we have our Autism and Asperger's discussions and also our Ask An Autism and Asperger's Advisor category, if these are something you would be interested in!
