Hi there,
Scope's Content Manager here. We've been approached by journalists at The Independent, ITN and Channel 5 who want to speak to a disabled person who has lost or is about to lose their disability premiums due to the transition to Universal Credit.
I understand that this is a very sensitive subject, however, our brilliant press team will be on hand to support you.
Please contact myself (phil.marsh@scope.org.uk) and Amy Byrne (amy.byrne@scope.org.uk) with a brief overview of your experiences and a recent photo of yourself that you'd be happy to be shared. There may also be some filming opportunities tomorrow.
Many of the journalists are working to a 5pm deadline - so do get in touch before then if you are interested.
Many thanks!
Phil

Hi @Scope_PhilMarsh
Don't know if this is relevant, but Amber Rudd, is due to give evidence tomorrow, to DWP Select Committee about UC.
Frank Field and his Committee are not happy bunnies!
