I’d welcome ideas of how to help our 49 yr old daughter with things like managing her own bank account and contact with friends on line. She has quite severe progressive MS and the after effects of a stroke that’s left her with minimal manual dexterity in her right hand only, decreased vision and increasingly unclear speech. Her speech isn’t clear enough to use Siri, for example. Thank you

Hi 5Shandy and a big welcome to the Scop community.
Have you tried the MS Society there's bags of stuff on there!

Or try this link to the stroke association:https://www.stroke.org.uk/what-is-stroke/diagnosis-to-discharge/recovery

Hi @5Shandy Does your daughter get any social care?
Social care covers a wide range of care and support, including supporting someone to get up and get dressed, develop friendships and relationships, do meaningful activities, and be part of their community.

If you believe you need support, the first thing you should do is contact your local authority and request a needs assessment. Find your local authority.

Hi Sam, many thanks. Yes she’s in the system because she was v Ill and had other problems at the time of the stroke, incl sepsis, and lives in a home for younger adults with physical disabilities. She’s had one kind of Assistive Technology which malfunctioned so we’re awaiting another system.  Hopefully in January. It’s just v frustrating to have decreasing ability.
