my son could not attend a pip tribunal which has waited for over a year , he was on dla and had to apply for pip he was refused any thing at all hence we had to go down the appeal route the hearing was set in November due to his illness he could not attend and they have gave him a option of a telephone interview by the panel which is set for  a few weeks time , he’s not great with telephone conversation and unable to get anyone other than family to attend his home to help him . Any advise would be appreciated has any one else had this option  thanks

@chrisd1962 hey nice to meet, you and your son don’t need to worry the tribunal people are very nice and they are their to help to get your back what the corrup dwp took away, I suggest maybe read write what he gotta to say and practice with someone over the phone and make sure you send all your evidence and supporting letter and even from school and support worker!! This process is not easy and nerve wrecking but it will be all worth it in the end!

He has agoraphobia and not been out of the house for years and nearly all help citizens advise welfare rights ect need him to attend to help him. So it's a bit of a vicious circle he has been assessed at home by a support health visitor who referred him back to gp for medication and the gp says he does not need medication he needs support and he is a adult of 28
