I want to apply for PIP but will I get it?

I have chronic FM and went for physio but it didn’t work. Am condition is getting worse daily mobility issue, chronic fatigue, walking short distances, struggling to get up/down the stairs. I want to apply for PIP but fear might not get it.

    Hi,

    No one can tell you whether you would qualify or not. PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    Have you tried doing a self test to see how you would fair on doing the PIP descriptors, be honest with yourself as the answers you write in your application form will have to be justified at your face to face acessment.

    Hi @Vp4, and welcome! As others have advised, this self-test might give you an idea of whether or not you will be able to claim PIP.
