I received mine in writing 2 days later, wasn't long at all
-
I got mine on day, depends if the court are running on time.
It does happen. -
Perfectly normal not to have a decision on the day, it doesn't mean anything. They're usually fairly quick sending you the decision letter and some receive it in a couple of days.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
At my appeal 2 weeks ago they asked if i wanted to wait outside for my decision or receive it by post , I said I wanted it done and finished today , it took 15 mins to call me back in and have the written decision there on the desk , one for me and one for my representative,

Thankyou ?I’ve been told DWP can appeal as well ?
-
DWP can only appeal if they find a error in law. They can ask for a statement of reasons they have 28 days to do this. DWP did not with me they just waited 28 days and they are now sorting out my arrears and award.
Goodluck

Just wait for the verification letter from DWP now, glad you got a good result
-
Thankyou does this then confirm everything? does it take 30 days or can they make a decision there not going to appeal earlier? X

Great news. It can take 8 weeks for you to receive back dated money. DWP have 1 month from the date of the decision to request the statement of reasons. If they request this it doesn't mean they're going to appeal. They can't do this unless an error in law is found. If they do request the SOR they'll write to you and tell you.
