I have just been awarded the standard daily living allowance / mobility . I do not work because of my disability but my partner does work 16 hours and receives a disability element ( which was done as an assessment over the phone with WTC.
My question is will my PIP award affect my partners disability element in any way? could she lose the disability element benefit ?

No your award will not affect your partners award in any way.

Wilko is correct. For benefit purposes PIP is disregarded as income. There may be some exceptions to this but I not aware of any.

Thank you Wilko and Stree for your replies, much appreciated.
