CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)

I became disabled with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) after a silly accident. I also have fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism I spend 90%og my time either in bed or in my wheelchair. I try to use crutches but the pain is too much so can't use for more than a minute or too. I live in a flat one floor up so I can't get assessed for an electric wheelchair until I move. I'm on the medical list to bid for property but I live in London and 3 bed house for wheelchairs are hard to find.
I don't leave my home much as it's. difficult.and uncomfortable to go down communal stairs on my bottom so I only really go out to gp and specialist/hospital visits.

Hi @GingerG welcome to the community, Im sorry you are having such a tough time. Do you live with someone who could help you get out more? Sometimes being indoors too much can be so negative on your health and well being.

Hi @GingerG,
Sorry to hear about the difficulties you're having finding a suitable property. How are you getting on with this now?
Have you tried looking for properties with Habinteg? They're an accessible homes provider and you can search for properties online and join waiting lists.
Have you had an occupational therapist's assessment at home? This can be helpful when looking at rehousing through your local authority.
I hope you're making progress with this and hope to hear how you're getting on soon.
