Had a pip tribunal 2 weeks ago and won had been waiting 14 months for tribunal still haven't heard anything back from pip how long does it take for them to get In touch they we're quick enough taking it of us but not quick enough giving back

    Hi,

    Great news. It can take 8 weeks to receive back dated money. This is because they have as much rights that we do to appeal the decision but to do this they must first ask for the statement of reasons. Once they receive this then they must find an error in law, otherwise they can't appeal the decision.

    They do sometimes request the SOR but it doesn't mean they're appealing the decision. If they do request it they'll write to you.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
