On pip and universal credit can uv sanction money cause disability

Does anyone know if it not aloud if people are disabled to be sanctioned by universal credit x cheers

    Hi,

    A PIP award doesn't automatically qualify you for limited capability for work under UC. You need to send in fit/sick notes to the DWP and a face to face assessment is most likely. If you're not placed into the no work requirements group then yes they can sanction you.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
