Back payment of ESA

Can anyone help me last year I received back payment ESA to October 2014 I know I'm owed back until December 2011 and I hear DWP aim to finish all back payments by march 2019 which isn't long what do I do if DWP never get in touch I don't want to lose out please help

Hi @mark141175 and welcomeThe DWP target is unrealistic. When did you complete your ESA 3 ?At one time the DWP were only backdating to 2014 but this was challenged and revised. You might need to request a new ESA 3 to be assessed for the earlier peiodBe all you can be, make every day count. Namaste

Thankyou for helping with your replys !I wrote a letter to DWP ESA department and all I was told is a specal team is dealing with all the case's and will be in touch if I'm due anymore back payment!

Please can you help me with some information ivwas paid a back payment last may 2018 and I signed a form saying I understand there can't pay any further back than 12 October 2014 but I know it been back to court and it been changed to 2011 I'm owed more backpayment but I'm worried I DWP won't get in touch as iv read on internet a lot won't get the money owed

As usual the internet is full of bad information. Every one that meets the criteria will receive what is due.

I think you have to wait - but you should get all money due to you. You've already been in touch with the DWP so I don't think there is any more you can do.
