Weakness/co-ordination problems in my left hand! - Do I have CP?

I'm terrified of the weakness/co-ordination problems in my left hand! I'm having a brain MRI this Wednesday March 6th! I have other symptoms like collapsing vision field that I have to fight! I notice it playing the piano, and the cello, and the viola, and typing on a keyboard! I'm scared to death! I can't even tell my husband - he'll leave me for sure! If I have cerelbel palsy, it will destroy my life! I am 59 years old!

Hi @CathyPK
Welcome
I understand that it must be a very difficult time for you. I'm glad that you have sought medical advice and I hope that it will give you clarity on the matter.
I have placed your post in the CP section. I am sure that some of our members will be able to help you and advise further.
All the best for Wednesday..

Hi @CathyPK
The symptoms that you describe do not necessarily indicate Cerebral Palsy. I can understand that you are very worried but you are doing the right thing by seeking help from medical professionals. The MRI should help clarify things. How long have you experienced the symptoms?

I am having a brain MRI Wednesday morning, March 6th, 2019. My good husband prayed that they wouldn't find anything. I'm seeing my Optometrist tomorrow, a requirement by my doctor before I go to an Ophthalmologist on the 11th. My left hand seems much better now, and I am having a partial mastectomy Friday, the 8th. God hasn't told me anything. My vision seems better than ever. The clock 5 feet away used to be very blurry, and now it is 95% better. We'll see what the Optometrist finds out. I felt so horrible last night that I took 2 extra-strength Tylenol. I normally take ibuprofen, but the doctors told me that I can only take Tylenol 2 weeks before my breast cancer surgery. There's a lot more to my story, but I can't write a research paper here! My annual mammogram in December found calcification in my left breast, and a 2 cm mass in the right breast. The biopsies found the mass in my right breast was malignant. So I have to have a partial mastectomy and radiation. There's a LOT more to tell... This is a support website, not medical analysis.

Hi @CathyPK
I apologise if you thought my questions were unnecessary. I was trying to find out how long you had experienced the weakness in your left hand so I could support you better. I wish you the very best with your MRI on Wednesday.

I don't have any idea. The weakness in my left hand snuck up on me. It was horrible last week. I'm sorry.
