Hi @katyb57, and a warm welcome to the community!
I'm so sorry to hear about your pain, that sounds really tough. We have lots of members with chronic pain here on the community so at the very least, I hope you know you're not alone.
Do you have any support for your pain at the moment? It may be worth discussing a pain clinic referral with your GP:Pain clinics
If you find you're having difficulty managing your pain, ask your GP for a referral to a specialist pain clinic.
Pain clinics offer a wide range of treatments and support. They aim to support you in developing self-help skills to control and relieve your pain.
Treatments may include:
- medication
- pain-relief injections
- manual therapy
- exercise
- TENS machines
- complementary therapy
- psychological therapy

Hi @katyb57 how are you doing today? Did you get through to your GP? Please keep us updated on how it's going.
