Hiya, just a quick query. My husband receives enhanced rate of both components of PIP and i am his carer and I receive carers allowance for this ... Am i able to also apply for PIP for myself? (would only be eligible for standard daily living under the descriptors of needing aids for cooking, aids for continence, aids in the shower and needing supervision when eating, equaling 8 points).. I'm worried about doing anything wrong and want to be sure a carer and claim PIP before attempting the application Many thanks

HiYou can claim PIP and carers allowance as long as you still provide 35 hours care for your husband and that the reasons for your claim are not contrary to the care you giveBe all you can be, make every day count. Namaste
