ESA Appeal criteria

l am appealing the decision not being put in support group!
 One of the reasons I was going to put is that on the form the DM has put that if I’m struggling going to work related activities (as I am unable to go out alone and suffer awful anxiety before and after etc) I can conduct the interviews over the phone! 
The way I see this is they’ve taken me out of support group because they think I can cope with work related interviews but then in MR letter they are saying if I’m not coping with work related activities I can do it via phone and don’t need to go out! Isn’t this contradictory?  I can either attend interviews at the job centre or not.
