What happens after winning the tribunal

My husband just won the tribunal which is a big relief for us! He suffers from Autism and got enhanced rate daily living, he went there with his representative and all the people in tribunal were nice apart from the DWP representative who tried to deceive him by asking him some weird questions, which surprised me as I thought they don't get to talk at the tribunal. Luckily the judge wasn't being misled by him. Now we'd like to know what to do next, will we receive a letter from DWP to confirm when the payment will be started and how much will it be paid before they make the first backdated payment? Will it happen only after 28 days? How will we know if they are going to appeal or not? Also can they change the tribunal decision by requesting him to be reassessed less to decrease the timeframe which the tribunal agreed? Thank you for the answer.

    Welcome to the community @LilyD congratulations on the win! According to  Citizen Advice:

    If your appeal is successful, you’ll get an official notice in the post within a couple of weeks. You’ll receive your new amount of money every 4 weeks.The DWP will also have to pay you everything they should have been paying you from the date of your claim. It normally takes 4 to 6 weeks for this money to come through.

    Your PIP could be reviewed by the DWP at any time, though it’s most likely to happen about a year before your award is due to end. The DWP will write to you and ask you to fill in a PIP review form, which is a bit like a shorter version of the PIP claim form.

    You should find the review form fairly straightforward compared to the claim form, but you can contact your local Citizens Advice if you need any help.

    You should recieve a letter from the tribunal in a couple of days
    It is worth ringing the DWP to make sure they have a copy
    The DWP usually take5-8 weeks to put a tribunal decision into payment
    DWP may ask the judge for the statement of reason, if they do they will look for an error in law on which to challenge the decision but seldom do they take it that far.
    A Tribunal decision is finite. You will be asked to reapply 14 weeks before the end date of the award, this will entail a new PIP" form

    Thanks for both of your answers. 
    We just called the DWP, and they said they've received the tribunal letter and it is allowed, just has to wait for it to be processed. 
    Do you know does it mean they are not gonna ask for the statement of reason and in that case how long can we expect to get the payment and the letter? 
    I guess if they aren't gonna ask for the SOR that's because the DWP representative was there and asked him some questions as well.

    It will probably still take 5-8 weeks, if they do ask for the SOR they have 4 weeks to do so. You should be notified if they do. Sorry but it is just a waiting game now but the worst is over
