Hi All
I’m confused I’m on esa & pip, I was awarded sdp from 5th April I’ve had my esa today (5 days later) but have not got any sdp. Is this because it is paid in arrears? Will I get it on my next esa payment date in 2 weeks time?
Thankyou

Hi @crazyhorse6 welcome to the community. Did you receive your sdp? There's some information from the Citizen Advice website on when you should get your esa. Please keep us updated.

Thankyou Antonia I’ve received my esa payment last week as usual.(10 April) But I never got my sdp I was awarded sdp from 4 April so I’m hoping I get it in my next esa payment as I think it’s paid in arrears?? If that makes sense

Hi @crazyhorse6, it may take them a while to process it and begin making payments (in which case you'll receive back pay to your award date).
It might be worth you giving them a call though as they should be able to give you a date or at least advise if anything is holding the payment up.
