Hi I'm new here. Not sure what to say or whether this is really for me, but thought I  would give it ago.

Hi, I am a single disabled mum, have been now for about 4yrs. I got my son an I out of an abusive relationship with my ex husband. The disability I live with is cauda equina, which one operation stopped me from being incontinent and paralyzed, but still have trapped nerves from L1 to S1. I also suffer with PTSD, Anxiety and depression.  I have chronic pain all time. I do have a great support network of family and friends but I find it hard to ask for help knowing they do so much already.  My lad is now 10yrs old and is fantastic really.  I just wish I could do some much more with him rather than just watching him do things?. I had such an active life before all this it makes it difficult for me still to except it. I've lived with it now for about 10yrs. I always try and keep smiling tho.

    Hi Steve51,

Thank you. I'm currently waiting to go back to the spinal specialist. I have pip causing a lot of stress and worry as they want me to go to an assessment again even tho they have all my evidence and I'm still having ongoing treatment.  If living like it isn't enough.  I really appreciate your support.
