    Hiya pamela1edwards,
How are you, sounds like I’m reading a part of my diagnosis.
Oesteoarthritis is not nice. Don’t you find the pain unbearable at times.
Ive recently started putting hot water bottles underneath my knees, well the back of them when i go to bed. I’ve found it helps a little or maybe it’s a distraction.
Hope you are surviving the pain well?. Keep warm and take care.???

I have a massage pad 6ft long you lie on it and its a warming feeling as it massarges you. I got it from QVC.
In on morphine twice a day  day.
90% of my joints need replacing..iv had arthritis for 63 years and dont know how iv kept going.
    Yoga helps if done slowly

It’s so painful. There are days I find it hard to bare.
The hardest thing I find is its so debilitating. I’ve always been so independent had a career, worked full time, we have two children all grown up now.
I have a brilliant husband ,we’ve been married 36 years this year.
My husband will do anything to help me, he’s my carer these days.
I find it so hard, I’ve always been so independent.
He doesn’t understand how I feel, equally I wouldn’t expect him to.
i feel so ungrateful, the pain gets to much at times.
Thats me having a moan and groan. ???

    Hiya pamela1edwards,
You’re right, you only understand when you go through something yourself.
I hate being like this. Im slowly trying to accept it.
    My husband keeps me unbeat.
What a grizzler I am today. Hahaha.
    Must be the weather.
Thank to you both for your support, it’s much appreciated. ???

After reading my post, I could see I’d written my poor husband ‘keeps me unbeat’, bless him, correct my spelling ‘ keeps me upbeat’.
    Thanks again pamela1edwards.???

    Hiya DanOApan,
I know Gabapentin is one of the medications I take, it’s not very pleasant.
I also find a hot bath is helpful.
Arthritis is so debilitating and to be found fit for work is mind blowing. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck ???

    Hi everyone.
I'm a sufferer too. I'm also on Gabapentin ,along with the strongest Fentanyl patches they can give me.  I have had total replacement of both shoulders . One being done as a reverse polarity.  I have it in my wrists, hands, lower spine and knees. I have had it since I was in my late 30's.
I hope you are all ok today? X
