I have cerebral palsy and I scared about following my dream because I put barriers up for my self and tell myself I cannot do it.
I would appreciate advice on how to change attitude to positive.

Hi @Globster I am sorry to hear you feel scared to follow your dreams. A lot of our members including myself,  put limitations on what we think we can do or achieve. But you definitely can with support and being optimistic. What are you interested in? There's some information from the NHS website on building resilience and being positive.

    Hi @Globster
I can understand how you feel, it can be scary putting out there and I suppose at times I used to let my CP dictate to me what I was capable of doing or achieving. You should 100% follow your dreams, some will be more successful than others but that is the same for non-disabled people as well.
Over time I have learned that CP is a part of me but does not define who I am or what I am capable of achieving. The same is true for you.
I have become quite the kawaii aficionado since my daughter is so keen on it! I would love to see your work :)
