Hi, my name is Shaun, I'm new to this forum and looking for some support to play a selection of games. I have limited use of my arms so anything that requires precision can be difficult for me. In particular I would like to play call of duty with my brother.

Hi @Shauncity
I have really limited experience with gaming consoles so cant speak from experience but I have a couple of ideas that may help, the Xbox has an accessible controller that might be useful, but it would also mean a big change in the platform that you are running on. The other suggestion is a charity called Special Effect who specialise just in gaming and they have lots of experience in this area. https://www.specialeffect.org.uk/
Hope thats useful.

Hi, I'm an Xbox ambassador so probably not much use to you we do indeed have an accessible controller which may be something you could look into in future?

Shaun, if you use Steam (through the PS4), there is a group there called AbleGamers. They have lots of info on games suitable for all kinds of restrictions, and that info helps you make informed decisions about what you'd like to play, but also games that may cause one hassle.
Two spring right to mind for people with restricted hand or arm movement. Pinball FX has many tables and so many ways to adapt you player input, it's worth investigating. The other is Fotonica, again, with such simple controls it can be reduced to smacking a cheap keyboard without precision.
If you get a bit lost, give me a shout.
Game on, good sir!
P.S
If anyone gets a Nintendo Switch, the version of Starfox on there has a special mode for players who want to enjoy the story but can't play to completion. If any parent or sibling reads this, you may wish to investigate that title, -
