hello
I had a hospital appointment queens medical centre in Nottingham. My dad parked in a disabled car parking space and displayed my blue badge. When I return to the car my dad saw a ticket on the windscreen.
I would like to hear has anyone else in scope community has parked disabled car spaces at Nottingham Queens Medical and displayed their blue badge and still got a parking ticket.
I would also like to ask the scope community would you appeal against the parking ticket because my dad did display blue badge correctly.

It has not happened to me and I would most definitely appeal the ticket. Was it pay and display? Most allow Blue Badge holders in for free but some don't.

I also would appeal this play to they better nature saying sorry but you don’t know why you have got this ticket, is your dads blue badge still valid did they not give you a reason for this0

Sorry your blue badge0

Did you pay and display? You would still need to have done this, even though you have a blue badge. It's not free parking i'm afraid. A quick google search suggests this... parking fees changed in January 2019.

Depending on where exactly you are there may be a time limit on how long you can park. Also it's a possibility that you have to pay for parking even if you have a blue badge. Definitely worth appealing even if only to find out exactly why the ticket was issued.

The links says blue badge holders still have to pay for parking, it's not free.

In one of the hospitals I go to we have to display our blue badge but still pay for one hours parking.
After paying for one hour we can stay for the rest of the day.0 -
