Hello @ruhi   Congratulations on winning your appeal.

That is great news to hear.  The current waiting time to receive backdated payments is around six to eight weeks.

You could contact PIP ask them on the number.

    0800 121 4433 .

    Hope that helps.

    Please take care.

Hello @ruhi   Thank you for sharing.

I am one of the community champions on the forum.  We guide and advise members.

The current waiting time is six to eight weeks before you get any benefit back payments.

Your welfare officer might tell you what happens next. That is what they should be doing.

I have given to you the PIP number to call.  Find out.

Please be aware keep an eye on your bank account because they do not usually tell you when payments, benefits going in.

    Had this myself many times.

Will send you a letter outlining the award. What you are entitled to.  Other information.

Please if you wish to know anything else be happy to be supportive.  Get in touch.

All I can add wish you well. I know it is been a long journey. I do understand.

    Please take care.

    Hi,

Great news. It can take DWP 8 weeks to pay you any backdated money owed and about the same time to put your award into payment.

This is because DWP have the same chance we do to appeal the decision but to do this they must first ask HMCTS for the statement of reasons and they have 1 month from the date of the decision to request this. Once they receive it they must then find an error in law before they can appeal.

You don't need to contact DWP about the Tribunal win because they will have already done that.

You just need to wait until you hear from DWP.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
