Good morning, I have requested an MR on 29th May on my pip award as did not feel that a couple descriptors and points given/not given, were accurate in the decision.
I called led to check this had been received and after a while I was advised they had uploaded on the screen. I received a text message to advise me they had received it and can take up to 10 weeks for a decision on the MR.
I have heard and read on here that MR are getting lost and evidence too, even though DWP have stated it had initially been received.
Is this his length of time accurate for my area in Birmingham?
Should I call back to enquire what is happening incase my MR has got lost?

Hi,You rang and they told you it's been received so it unlikely to get lost now because it's been uploaded onto the computer. There's no timescales for any decision, it depends on backlog in your area.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

KEE, dont worry if you received the text and they stated they uploaded then it should not get lost. But i would ring on the 10th Week. mine took 13 weeks but I got the correct outcome so worth all the wait. Good luck with yours. xxx
