I had my PIP review assessment at the beginning of May. The assessor was absolutely lovely, she really took her time with me to help me understand what she was asking - I have complex hearing difficulties. My mum had to help relay some questions as there were a few words i didn't understand but i answered every question myself.
I was completely honest with her and told her how much I miss being in a workplace environment. She was empathetic. I also told her about volunteering online here at Scope.
Today I received my decision letter and will continue to receive enhanced rate on both components and will not be assessed again until 2029 - which I was really surprised about but relieved.
I think people need to share more of their positive experiences with PIP.

Hi @Ami2301 I am so pleased to hear this. Yes hopefully if people share their positive experiences others will not be so apprehensive about the process. I am waiting for my decision from the transfer from indefinite DLA to PIP. I will let you know how I get on.

Hey guys I posted a while back about my situation.. ? over 3 and half years fighting D. W. P I just been awarded P. I. P standard rate works out £57.80 a week I think. I've got advanced osteoarthritis in my knees and spondylitis in my back, I've been through **** with benefits system. but still have to have a universal credit assessment it's never ending... ? but thanks for all the replys and help on this site... ??
