    Hi @Brodiew
I had a trike when I was younger and fitter. Great fun! But I was a danger to the general public :)

Have you seen the Scope webpage that has fundraising ideas A-Z? Really it is aimed at people wanting to raise money for Scope but I think it has some creative ideas that could be used when fundraising for other causes:

GoFundMe pages are useful. When I need a new piece of mobility equipment my first stop is always eBay.

How do I find then. I don't understand how Ebay could be helpful. Glad it helps you x

Equipment on eBay is often a lot cheaper because it is second hand. Crowdfunding sites like GoFundMe might be a better solution. :)

Hi it may be worth trying out a few different trikes before you buy. We are really lucky and live near a specialist shop in York that sells all types of bikes but also has open days when you can try them all it’s called Get Cycling they also sell secondhand bikes. It may be worth looking for similar shops in your area because it can be a very expensive mistake to make if you don’t get the right trike.
Good luck and wishing you power to your pedals.

Just occurred to me that the shops may also know of any local or national charity’s that can help with funding.

Hi Mel, welcome, I have heard of a company local to us called Jorvik electric bikes and trikes I’m afraid I don’t have any experience of them as we only really tried out manual bikes for our boy but they may be worth a google. In the end we got our boy an Ice recumbent after we tried one at a local cycle show, as it grows with him and we have lots of great cycle routes around us so you can easily find a flattish ride. Good luck with your search and let us know how you get on.
