I have been diagonises (finally) with heamochromotits, is this considered a diability ? I also have liver disease and this all has a huge impact on my life, I am on esa at the moment , what other benefits may I be entitled to ?

Hi,PIP has replaced DLA but it's not awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activity based on the PIP descriptors. It's also not means tested so other household income doesn't affect it.You'll need evidence to support your claim which should state how your conditions affect you. A face to face assessment is most likely needed because most people have them.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
