ESA backdated payment

in Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)
hi I'm just wondering how long it will take to prosses my back payment from esa. They rang me two weeks ago saying it's being processed. I'm on my 11th week now. Tia.

    Hi,

    If you're talking about the Incapacity benefit to ESA underpayments then decision waiting times are between 12-20 weeks. Once a decision's been made they will write to you.

    If it is in process does that mean I’m entitled to the back pay

    No, it means it's being looked at and a decision has yet to be made.
