Can I claim PIP for rotary cuff. I was turned down last year for it, but my problems have got worse. I keep falling over and can barely use my arm due to the rotary cuff

Hi,PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activity based on the PIP descriptors. Was there any reasons why you didn't request the Mandatory Reconsideration then Tribunal if that failed? Constantly re-applying using the same evidence you previously used will very likely see another refusal.I'd advise you to get some face to face advice.0

Hi @happyman
As Poppy says, PIP is awarded based on how an impairment affects your day to day life.
There is a PIP self test here that might be useful to fill out? And we have lots of information on PIP here.0 -
Hi @happyman
Putting the PIP issue to one side, I would suggest you make an appointment with your GP, to investigate the falls.
I have a balance problem and for over 6 months did not realise it, until I visited my GP, who did a simple balance test and then referred me to ENT clinic.
Hope this helps.0
