Operations not looking forward to at all.

Hi to all'
I have recently bought a new phone as needed to do a few things......
I will be booked in September to have a Hyesterctomie and cyst removal ect:
I have been to the doctors again today and told I need an exray of my pelvis and possibly a hip replacement from my fall 2 years ago can I put a claim in at this stage of finding out I am not happy with the outcome.
What do I do ?

Surgery is not fun but there are things you can do to make it easier. My son has had several procedures now. Every time I have packed a bag full of things to distract us.
Last time I took a puzzle book and some new reading material. What does the specialist recommend? What do you know about the op? How long will it take? All good questions to ask.
These are my top tips
Make sure your phone is fully charged. Pack suitable indoor clothing too. Deal with travel arrangements. Ask for support. Take some money with you for food. Reassure your child. Prepare him or her too.
Accept offers of help. Exchange contact information beforehand. Find out all about the operation.
Can I ask what the claim's for?

Yes when I had one of my many Operations I would make sure that I had enough funds for the TV/phone,.
I know that there is nothing off any use on them but at least it is something that helps you though a very very long day,

I would suggest to the hospital concerned the team who are doing the operations. @April2018mom has given a lot of advice.
Very useful.
All I can add have you spoken to Patients Liaison might offer a lot of advice, guidance.
Please if you want to claim is this for your stay in hospital?

The claim I was saying about was when I sipped on snow 2 years ago outside the back of the coop on uneven ground and ended up on the ground resulting in my hip pain plus swelling and now need a replacement hip it has never been right since I slipped on the snow as above.

Thanks for explaining. It's probably best seeking some free legal advice about the best course of action.
