Good morning
well woke up to a payment of just over £800 in my account from DWP
It was a first time application and I wanted people to know that it’s not always bad stories you hear about
I made the first phone call 10 th may
received the forms 10 days later
I had help from the Cab office to fill them in
we also sent in as much evidence as we could find
F2F 23 rd June
and no way as bad as I had expected
i requested the report 2 days after and received that about 2 weeks ago
it was about 80-90% accurate
a couple of things were not on the form
ie no points for medication and I felt I should have scored higher on the dressing as I need help with the bottom half
I need someone to inject into a vein at least 1-2 times a week
but hey the accessor scores me 9 daily and 10 mobility so standard on both
looking at the payment it seems the DM has most probably gone with the report
so it’s not all doom and gloom.
I wish you all the best and keep fighting x

Great news and it's nice you took the time to share a positive outcome which gives hope to others that some people do get an award first time

Congratulations.

Got my decision letter this morning to confirm standard on both for 3 years
just wanted to say a massive thank you to all on here
without your invaluable information I doubt I would have been successful -
