hi all  I have a personal pension but not claiming yet,could have claimed it 18 months ago will this be taken in consideration if I claimed universal credit

    Hi,

    The pension will be counted as income £1 for £1 when calculating any universal credit. 

    Id advise you to contact and advice agency near you for a full benefit check. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    Is this the case even though I,m not claiming my pensonal pension as of yet nor getting a state pension
