Hello I'm new here and was wondering if any of you know of a Mortgage lender who accepts benefits as a repayment along with support for mortgage interest benefit.
It's to buy a land with planning permission and build a Log cabin home on it.
Any suggestions would be very helpful thanks.

Hi @AdamB2019 and welcome to the community.
You are talking about a self build mortgage, Typically this means a specialist mortgage provider with higher interest rates. You can find out more at https://www.homebuilding.co.uk/self-build-mortgage/
A better alternative then going it alone would be to be part of a self build cooperative. If you have problems locating a local one try contacting CDS Co-operatives. https://www.cds.coop They may be able to signpost you to something local to where you want to be.
If you are not sure about this route try googling self build mortgage lenders. Here is one site I found: https://www.money.co.uk/mortgages/self-build-mortgages.htm
Good luckAs an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.

Hi @AdamB2019 There is some info about mortgages for people on disability benefits on Scope's website. Please let me know if this is useful, Alex
