Congrats currently waiting on partners decision, told us they'd defiantly have an answer on the 22nd.0

@AhhBisto
Thank you , i phoned this morning as i was told 10 weeks for decision which would have been the 6th Aug
As it usually takes 7/10 days for me to receive letters from Dwp I phoned in the off chance and yes decision made and letter posted on the 31sr July. So it maybe worth phoning prior to the 22nd.0 -
Congratulations!

Was your PiP assessment done by Salus who are contracted by IAS/ATOS and work in the west of Scotland area, and supposed to be a non profit company ? working on behalf of the NHS doing work asessments and so forth what chance have we got when it is actually NHS carrying out PIP assessments God help us all.0

Hi yeah it was Salus , i have to say my assessment in comparison to some people,s i have read about was fairly straightforward and not too unpleasant .0

saz11I too had to challenge my award at MR and was successful, why can't they get it right first time ? my HCP at home assessment said she had never had so much training in her job as PIP assessor AYE RIGHT.0

@braca
Yeah in an ideal world right first time would be wonderful.
It can be very hard going through MR as i waited 10 weeks and if like me you dont have support and live alone it can be a very difficult time., but fortunately i found this forum which helped me enormously ?
