Hi everyone,

I have recently went through a lengthy struggle to be re-awarded PIP as it was revoked June 2018 and this week after attending a Tribunal i was awarded the Daily Living component (standard) as i originally was but with added Mobility (enhanced rate) which is new to the claim and is being backdated to June 2018 however i lost a huge amount weekly from my tax credits due to no longer received PIP from June 2018.

I spoke to HMRC who have advised that the tribunal service will speak to them i do not need to do anything but i don't believe this to be true and scouring the internet for answers has not helped either.

How do i claim back the tax credits i lost out on due to an incorrect decision? Is there a specific department i can speak to or claims form i need to request?

I would really appreciate help with this issue as the ordeal has had enormous consequences financially since PIP was incorrectly revoked, the back pay is going to be used to pay off credit card debt accumulated because of the revoke, is there any compensation that can be gained for the horrendous ordeal?

Thank you

David
