    Hello @GanglionG Welcome!

That is cool to hear your studying medicine, what would you look to specialise in when you graduate?

    Nice picture!

    Hello, Anthony,

how has your day been? =)
Well, I am not 100 % sure yet. I like the idea of pediatrics and neurology. I´d also enjoy being a family physician because I like to get to know people better, not just take them as numbers.
I know what fields I would not be able to do though (pathology and gynaecology).

I can also imagine doing many other things besides medicine. I think not only cardiovascular diseases but also lack of meaningful relationships harms one´s health significantly :) So decreasing levels of suffering in any form is what I enjoy doing.
    Thanks for your comment :)

It has been pretty good, I got offered a volunteering role helping with HR/Volunteer administration for a charity I should start that soon, it may lead to a role in that area, so fingers crossed :)

I forget sometimes how many different paths you can do in medicine. Being a family doctor would be definitely a great way to get to know people more and being able to follow up on their issues.

Have a look around our group discussions, we also have a general chat group the coffee lounge, which is very active. I am sure you will find us to be a supportive and friendly group and we look forward to talking to you more!

Great ad, are you an idealist or a realist?

Lots of luck with your studies :)

I'd like a soul mate too.

    Hello =)
    Congratulations on your volunteering role!
    It has been...tough.
I was looking for a new place to live (as I am moving to another city) and that´s been pretty exhausting. The housing situation in my country is really bad. When you live on your own, it is pretty impossible to find a decent affordable aparment here.
Had to make a decision between 2 apartments (a year contract) which was pretty terrible since both the apartments are far from ideal and I am kind of worried I may come across selfish neighbours again.

Today it´s been better. Went to a vegan baked goods fest in my town.

    How has been yours ?

London housing is the same! I hope you get settled soon. I haven't really heard of vegan festivals in the UK (well not in London anyway), but the choice of vegan stuff is becoming more popular in shops. It sounds great! what were your favourite picks at the festival?

My week hasn't been too bad, I have been helping to develop some new admin procedures where i volunteer which involves template coding so I had to brush up on that. Other than that I have been going out playing some football and enjoying the weather.

Frankly, I like everything I tasted (: Especially quichés. Everything was delicious.
How did that football match go? (Reminds me that I need to read up on the difference between football and soccer ,-)
    Have a nice day !

    Hello Ails,

Thank you very much for your warm words :)
the city in the picture is Prague - the capital of "my country".  (By the way - I am not a patriot. Never understood this kind of an attitude (racism and xenophobia).
    P.S. Your own cat? :)
