Hi all.
Am after some advice please.
I have had my atos pip assessment and am not awaiting the dwp decision.
Do you know if the dwp go by the assessors report please
Also if i was successful is the pip paid from the date i made the first phone call please.

Hi,Mostly they go with the report, it's rare to go against it.If you are transferring from DLA then there's no backdated money. If it's a review of an existing PIP claim then it's from the date of the decision. If it's a new claim without transferring from DLA then it's from the date you rang to start your claim.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
