Are you a disabled student considering a university education?
Disability Rights UK have invited our disabled student advisor @melaniethorley to provide a webinar on the STAART initiative.
In this webinar Dr. Melanie Thorley from the University of Greenwich will talk about STAART (Support Through *AccessAbility–Retention and Transition) for prospective and current disabled students.

The AccessAbility initiative is a disability and diversity (includes dyslexia and autistic spectrums; mental health difficulties; and long-term health conditions) focused initiative at the University of Greenwich which provides information and guidance to disabled and diverse students who are considering a university education.
The event takes place on September 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM and you need to register for the event here.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

I’m considering it. Today I decided to pursue a career in art and am investigating all routes. This is a good initiative. Hopefully it will encourage more disabled people to get into education. Do you want me to spread the word or not?4
