Hi Alan,
welcome to the online community! It is a great place to find support and make new friends. We have lots of members and I’m sure those with PDA will be sure to reach out to you soon. -
? thanks
I'm feeling a bit like a leper at the mo.

Hi @jessop
Welcome to the community. I'm sorry you are feeling like a leper, what's going on with you?
Have you seen the PDA Society? They have some tips on self help and coping strategies here
And lots of information about pathways to support for adults with PDA here.
There is also this facebook group for Adult PDA Support that you might like to look into.
The community here is a warm and welcoming place though, so stick around, jump in and get chatting. I look forward to getting to know you

Hi
I'm ok thanks iv read pretty much everything and now on books.
I'm waiting for evaluation for PDA I had ADHD confirmed this year.
Im looking for people that have managed to go under the radar all their lives like me.
-
Hi @jessop, I'm glad you are waiting for an evaluation, but I imagine it can't come soon enough!
I'm sorry none of our members have reached out. Here are some users that have mentioned ADHD: @holly1989, @bevvy1966 and @GILLIAN12345.
Please let us know if we can do anything else.Scope -
Joking right?
It's been a month -
This is just another dead end.
-
Hi @jessop, sorry we've not been able to help.
Have you given the National Autistic Society a try? They obviously have more PDA-focused discussions there that might be of use.Community Manager

Hi, I hope you’re still getting the messages from here, my child has PDA and I feel pretty isolated myself because of it. I’d love to chat if you wanted to!
-
Hi I'm back it seems to work now.
IV read and spoke to many sufferers but I'm still finding almost impossible for me as an adult to get help.
No adult services in my area and the private ones seem to be just as bad.
Rapidly loosing hope.
44 been battling myself my whole life now I have answers I feel worse.
All the information on PDA and children is no different to an adult that seems to be had been missed.
It also seems that a trick is being missed by not treating adults and children together I think you will be amazed the benefits for both groups will have a much better understanding of each other.
No one understands us like each other. I definitely think mixed groups would help. It would also give non PDA parents to meet adults with the condition. This is all far more helpful than your talks about children and the problems they may have! We are here to tell you.
