Is your daughter seen by a low vision clinic? There are community alarms that you can purchase.
Additionally, to get more information on them, phone your local council for more details on the scheme. They may ask a occupational therapist to come out to do a evaluation to see what she needs. You may also be allowed to apply for a disabled facility grant. You can use the money to fund a security system. What about a peephole like the ones found on airplanes?

Do you have a social worker or not?

Not yet but things are moving eventually for the family. Have had a TAC first meeting and next one booked for 8th October and OT invited.
