I went on holiday 16 September coming back on 14 October  can they suspend my claim an do they include the day of departure in the 28 days

    No they cannot.

    If you need advice, call Citizens Advice for clarification of your rights tomorrow. Try not to worry. Easier said than done however when it comes to benefits I know!

    HI,

    That's less than the 28 days allowed so no your ESA won't be suspended. No need to ring CAB because they will only tell you exactly the same thing.


    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

    Thank u that means it’s 29 days  I left on 16 September an I’m comming bck on 14 October so they won’t count the day i departured

    The day you leave and the day you return isn't counted.
