Hello @ChrisValz. I'm really sorry to read about how much pain you're in.
Have you had a look at Disabled Gear for second-hand aids?Community Manager

Hi, have you not had any input by an OT....Occupational Therapist?. These are the people who would assess and get you the right equipment for free.
-
Hi dear the obvious local support missing for last 18months so No my local OT been unhelpful right equipment in locality due to missing staff
-
Have you talked to a private OT @ChrisValz or not?
They should be able to do a evaluation of your needs and make recommendations too. This is a online virtual directory of occupational therapists who work across all areas of Britain.

It is a good source of information. You can use the search box to narrow down the results.

Hi @ChrisValz Your GP should be able to get you an appointment at the nearest physiotherapy department as you can borrow aids such as walking frames from the NHS. A physio would be able to quickly assess what might be the most suitable for you; correct height, etc.I've borrowed elbow crutches for nearly 20 years. My old ones were swapped for brand new ones when I fractured my hip 3 years ago; I'm hoping not to repeat that process!Anyway, I'd ask your GP & this way it won't cost you anything.

Hi @ChrisValz, I hope the advice above has been beneficial. How are you doing at the moment?Scope
