DWP PIP periodic review

Hi,

I just wanted to follow up from my recent post about the periodic review being arranged for me to remove my mum as my appointee.

can anyone please advise how long it takes for PIP to send the letter to tell my mum about the review and how long from that I should expect an appointment for review please?

    Hi,

    It can take a few weeks at least, as you only posted the first question a few days ago then you need to wait a few weeks. If you or your mum hasn't heard anything by then you need to contact DWP again.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    This is to revoke an appointee that was put in place without my consent.  Basically I’m trying to revoke my mum without her knowing until the meeting comes because she is refusing to give it up herself. 

    Do you think roughly it may be a couple of weeks from now it could be all sorted? 

    I have a job that I’m due to start but I’ve put my Access to Work claim on hold for now.  I’ve also asked the HR department of my new employer to bear with me before I start work so I can get this sorted.

    Yes, i read your previous thread. I'm afraid no one here can tell you how long it will take, for this you'll need to ring DWP but i'm assuming it could take a few weeks for a representative to come out and see you.
