?Very tiredIt been a tuff few months, be extremely ill and trying to be strong because i thought if I showed my weaknesses, they would be running for the hills..
I cut off from most people until I hit the bottom
Then I found there are a lot of caring people out there, many that didn't know me, but were there for me to help me up.
My faith in humanity has been restored!
God bless all those earth bound angels
And all of you that think you cant say your not coping.
Please try to reach out to atleast one person and be honest,
You might be surprised

What about you? -

I tend to do this too
@DoriFish
Even stayed off this site for a month whilst going through the PIP ordeal, instead of coming here for support and some cheery words to keep me going!
Hope you're feeling better

Hi, I`m feeling edgy today too. Got financial assessment tomorrow re my care charge and on Friday,, got Social Worker coming for a new care assessment. And awaiting pip decision.

I think you had your assessment two or three weeks after mine and I received decision last week (positive result) so hopefully yours won't be too long now.
I still have my fingers crossed for you x -

Thanks. Just burst into tears after typing the last message. Too much for a mind to take sometimes -

Mine was a strange one. Decision only took 3 weeks after assessment but had been going on for a year since Review, which I never received result from (and too afraid to phone) but the money did continue.
Then a few months ago I received a text saying they were using my Review from last year!!
Had to quickly send off latest reports and a new diagnosis of PTSD!!
And don't worry about crying Polly, it's actually good for you in relieving stress.
Strangely I cried for nearly a week after the decision!!
Must be relief.

My f2f was 18th September and Decision came last Monday, 14 October. So 3 and half weeks.
Hopefully yours will be as quick -
Sorry to hear that @pollyanna1052, I appreciate how much pressure there can be when waiting for a decision. However, you can't do anymore and we all wish you the very best of luck!

It`s just lately, everything has happened all at once.....PIP, local council and care charges dispute, needing an extra carer and hoping they will allow it and provide funding.
My always strong, calm hubby hubby has also buckled under the pressure.
Going out shortly, to my Chit Chat club. I always have a laugh there.

That's good, take your mind off it for a while
Know what you mean about hubby, mine was feeling the strain too.
Decision didn't come until 10 days after my previous PIP ended. Hubby received a letter saying his Carer Allowance was ending because no longer looking after disabled person.
Talk about stress!!
Anyways, hope you enjoy yourself (as much as you can) x -
It's a lot to manage @pollyanna1052 and we think you are doing amazing!

I dont think we are the only ones by any long chalk !
Think we tend to feel be a bit more vulnerable, there for we hide that vulnerability the best we can.
And when we cant hide it any more, we hide!!! -
?It could be betterSorry to hear you are feeling so stressed @Pollyanna1052. Keep your chin up and enjoy your Chit Chat Club today. Thinking of you. xWinner of the Scope New Volunteer Award 2019.

?I'm happy todayTired. Roll on this weekend. I am doing nothing at all. No parties or trips out either. I need to recharge my batteries before Christmas.
-
?It could be betterFeeling the tension rising as I hear is Christmas this, Christmas that- knowing I will be dragged round to look at things we cannot afford.
We are going to come back empty handed bar sellotape or some wrapping paper.
The worst part is my partner is sympathetic to my physical disability, but again Autism is Mr Grumpy.
Hopefully this torture will be brief and I can come home and sit with the dog for a while after.
dragging my feet to time to leave
