Applying for an early PIP tribunal hearing

The DWP have suggested I asked for an early hearing due to compelling circumstances and stress and I had an e-mail from HMCTS saying I should I apply to the judge to ask him to decide if an early hearing is viable. How quickly does this take and would it be without going to court.

Hi,It will only be possible to do this if a cancellation became available. Appearing in person is definitely your best option because paper based hearings have a very small success rate, with only 5-8% of those having a decision is their favour.All you can do is ask, whether you'll receive it, is another thing because waiting times are huge.0
