I have a question that will help people get to know each other.
What is everyone’s favourite car?
Mine is the Ford Mustang. Either a 1960s one, like in my profile picture, or a modern one! I hope to own one one day. -
can't be bothered to talk tonight I'm too tired that why I haven't been online today all day
-
Ok I guess people aren’t nerdy and interested in cars like me.
What about hobbies, what is everyone’s favourite hobby? -
Morning @66Mustang! My favourite hobbies are reading, writing and crocheting. You?
I've always wanted to play guitar @DosieDoe, can you play?

@Tammyjane33 Hi there... I'm... not great at this....:/

Hi @Tammyjane33
I don't post as much as I would like. I work in a housing association on service charges and section 20s. Trying to get my head around a computer system introduced at work, and currently studying for the IRPM foundation course.
I am also the Chair of a tenant management organisation. I do the newsletters, posters, satisfaction surveys. In the past, when I had more time, I also organised community activities and events, put together successful funding applications and written the occasional blog post. As well as developing and updating the policies.
I have a number of interests which have developed around my local voluntary work including the environment we live in, how as communities we can come together to make a difference locally. Local council consultations. Two I have recently responded to have been improved access to toilets in the borough and changes to how they pay for social care.
I don't really have time for a hobby, though I love what I do and even get paid well for doing it in terms of my job. Which I got as a result of my voluntary work.As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.
As part of a community I helped to create change! -

Hello @66Mustang, What is everyone’s favourite car? mine a Mercedes or a Ford EscortMy hobbies are reading, making tags, knitting when my hand allowed.
-
Ford Escorts are nice especially the Cosworth models! Which Mercedes do you like or just any Mercedes? Hehe
Nice hobbies there, I should really get back into reading as it’s fun and good for the brain!!
I like Mustangs but my lottery win car would be a Lamborghini Aventador as I think they just look ridiculous!

@66Mustang Mercedes 1962 the year I was born. love the size of it. I don't like showie cars...

Hi folks - I'm not a car person...
-
Hi, mine's a Porsche, but then I'll settle for books, which I have got,.......as well as my son's books in my spare bedroom!I also enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles online. I love playing chess; taught my husband, then he beat me....taught my son from about age 4, then he beat me. So I'm OK about teaching chess, but probably rubbish at playing it!When my son was on his honeymoon 3 years ago they visited an antique centre, where he saw this unusual small travel chess set; the pieces being ancient Egyptian gods. He asked what was the best price on it, & was told the dealer who owned it would be in the following day. When they went back the next day, this dealer said if you can beat me in a game of chess, it's yours for nothing. I now have this lovely chess set.

Hi @Victor I am not into cars either. Do you have a hobby or something in particular you are interested in?

Hello I am April Talbot.
My cared for person was born three years ago. I love reading books etc and meeting new people in town etc. I have also travelled by car in Europe mostly and around the UK by train as well. This year I flew to Florida on a plane (it was a planned layover trip). I love puzzle books too. My other hobbies are sewing and beadwork.
Also I enjoy knitting things for people. I have two cats. Another thing I love doing in my spare time is editing photos and dancing when I have a moment. I am rather unique. My husband is 12 months older than me. I used to play the recorder as a child. I took lessons and everything. I am interested in tarot reading, palm reading, fortune telling and things like that. Astrology intrigues me.
I am adopted. My birth mom left me at the hospital since the pregnancy was unplanned. I was then adopted within two years. -
Hi there I am rob I'm 32, looking to get to know people on this forum as I'm fairly new to it ?
